My name is Penny Schenck. I have been going to Dr. Greg Pyle in Muncie, IN since June. Krista has been doing therapy for my headaches.

Last year, around the first of September, I woke up with a headache right above my left eye. I tried everything over the counter, went to my family physician and to an ENT. I was put on antibiotics for a bacterial sinus infection and started on a c pap machine in December, being assured that the machine would take care of my headaches. My ENT sent me for an MRI to see if he was missing anything. It came back normal, but I still had the headache. That same headache stayed with me for months, having only a short reprieve during the Winter. The headache returned, full force early in the Spring and pretty much stayed with me until I began going to Dr. Pyle.

I must tell you, at times I thought the headache was a figment of my imagination. No one can have a headache for months on end, right? I was so relieved when I went to Dr. Pyle's office and he did some deeper digging and found the source of my headaches. I started therapy with Krista every week, was given lotion to use on my muscles, supplements to take, and exercises to do at home, along with the little sensor pads to use and a mouth guard to use at night. Headaches began to come less frequently and were less severe in nature when I did get one. I went nearly four weeks without a headache. I can't say enough about the treatments I have been receiving. Dr. Pyle is great, and Krista has a special touch. Not only is she a sweetheart, but she has a special gift when it comes to massage.

My family doctor asked me to go off the supplements because I complained of hot flashes. (The flashes DID go away after I stopped the supplements). He has also taken me off the machine for three weeks to see if the headaches will return. In the meantime, I was diagnosed with multiple kidney stones and had surgery this past Wednesday. I did have a headache for two days, however, I believe it was because of the trauma on my body from the surgery. I have had no more headaches without the machine and I am hopeful that I can get rid of that machine once and for all soon. Dr. Pyle did a nocturnal oximitry test and found that I only had one incident when my oxygen level dropped below 90 during the night.
